Damen's SAR 1906 design, developed with KNRM, MARIN and TU Delft; KNRM's Nh1816 at IJmuiden is the lead boat (named 2015). Self-righting all-weather rescue boat with Sea Axe bow, 7 t bollard pull and twin waterjets. Damen lists the series at 19.5 m, up to 30 kn, 42 survivors seated; the KNRM boat carries 120 in emergency. Also built for the Turkish Coast Guard.
